A non-profit festival now in its 12th year, The Aleila Festival is dedicated to offering an experiential and co-creative experience through gatherings, workshops & playshops. The Aleila Retreat Festival happens August 1,2,3 on a spectacular 200 acres of Canadian Sheild with a waterfall, meadows and forest in Muskoka. A gorgeous, loving and mellow weekend with camping, workshops, playshops, hikes, meditation, healing and energywork, community meals, performances, circles, sitting around the fire, and swimming in the magnificent river at the bottom of a spectacular waterfall - heaven on earth!

In venues spread across the city, 9 days of events beginning with the opening of the "I Pod" art exhibit at Lonsdale Gallery, and the Opening Gala gathering on Saturday May the 10th at NUUC. Each day there are concerts, workshops, & impromptu gatherings throughout the week, daytime and evening. At the end of the week, Saturday May the 17, Our SPIRIT MARKET of unique vendors takes place at Toronto Sprouts (11am-5pm) with the Closing Gala following in the evening. Sunday May 18 we celebrate the Full Moon on the beach at Ashbridges Bay from late afternoon onwards.
